Pewsey Carnival - lighted procession

Pewsey has two weeks of events including the WheelBeero race and the four legged wine race, and then culminates in the Carnival Procession which this year is on the 20th September.

It's a while away but I thought I'd put it in the calendar, and I may add Wheelbeero race and wine race meetups as well.

It is 7 1/2 months away so you do have time to plan!!

Hello all. I'l drop a mail to you with my contact details, but I plan to be in the High Street about 6pm onwards, outside my neighbour's place.

Check - as there is a map showing places for parking, essentially four spots at each corner of the village. If you don't want to get stuck in the village till late then it's best to park there and walk in.

There are food stalls and pubs so you shouldn't go hungry or thirsty.

And the fair afterwards is fun, even if you only go for the dodgems !

The carnival procession starts about 7:30pm and there is a funfair which is open after. The only problem would be access after the roads close, about 6pm, but there is normally a car park set up on the outskirts of the village.

I've added this extremely early, and will post details closer to the time.
