A Sunday evening game of Settlers Of Catan

Following the triumph of last month's Risk evening we thought we'd repeat it but, this time, with award-winning strategy game Settlers Of Catan.

Note that, although numbers are very limited due to the maximum number of players in the game, you're warmly invited to set up another meet-up on the same night at the same pub with a game of your choice.

Congrats to Attila - a very 'gutty' performance

Thank you for the great game. As for gutty, its meaning other than `courageous` and `a plimsoll` is: gutty (ˈɡʌtɪ)
      n, pl -ties
      1. an urchin or delinquent
      2. a low-class person
[probably from gutter, perhaps from the compound guttersnipe]

Hi, I'd like to come along, but you may already have your max numbers. Could bring along scrabble, if this appeals, for another game option, rather than officially organise another meet up??

Please do set this up. We should have a night with tons of board games and have as many people come as possible. I could bring some board games. I haven't played them in months! Very keen for this night in Bath.

Sounds like a good idea. I work odd hours, so can't commit to same night each week which may be difficult Re: organising. Any ideas for venue?

I'm so sorry to cancel; it's been a difficult few days and I don't think I'd be good company. Apologies again.

Sorry you can't make it Polly, hope to see you next time

      Hope so too, thanks.

Sorry about this folks but, as Orsolya's had to drop out, we no longer have a copy of the game. Perhaps Nissa would like to bring along Scrabble. I've just emailed her.

I'm still suffering with a cold so will drop out but I hope you manage to find a game and have a good evening.

Im terrible Sorry but for unforeseen reason i can not do today`s game night. Maybe Nissa can save the night by popping in with scrabble?

Oh go on then, I'll give it a try as this is one weekend I'm not working for a change. I should warn you I'll probably need the rules explained in words of one syllable though.

That makes two of us Louisa. I think there's something about alcohol that blocks the absorption of rules by the human brain

Hope it's ok (again) that I don't know how to play- coincidentally met someone this week who recommended it highly.
