Thanks for arranging this Meet Up Thurstan. I hadn't ever been either and had a great time.
Many thanks to all those who made it along yesterday. Great event, especially as it is the first time I have attended the carnival!
Nice to catch up with people today. Great music, food and sun shine. Suffering now with sun burn lol.

I will try and get there for 11. But have a plumber here doing some work, so it all depends if I will be able to go. Will I be able to contact by mobile if I am late?
So sorry, can't make it for 11/11.15, but hope to be there later...
Sorry I will have to cancel, my granddaughter is coming to stay. Have been trying to get to carnival for years....maybe 2015!

Annette the Carnival is definitely well worth it, Maybe you can take her to the Carnival as Children and Adults Entertainment and food is brilliant with brightly coloured costumes. She would love it! Thurstan I wish I had knew about the St Pauls Carnival on same date as I had been due to schedule my walk on same day. Maybe we will be able to finish my walk and see some of the events with you with you later? As I wont be you able to go to the St Pauls Carnival next year! Boo Hoo! Anyone know if the Carnival is on both days for on the Sunday?
My granddaughter is only 20mths Katrina, not sure its the best place to take her but i will be there next year!
Cant make it now sorry, issues with the new lodgers!
This will be my first time to the carnival, does this go on till late? Would it be best for me to park the car near city farm/ UCR climbing church?
Hi Geoff, the carnival itself takes place from midday until mid afternoon. There will be live music until probably around midnight.
I don't know St Paul's very well so a bit hazy on parking. Can anyone else help out on parking?
Yes I can help: Thurstan Look on this handy Car parking website: http://en.parkopedia....
That should say Bristol Samba Band of course!
Will try to meet up with people either before or after as I am playing in the carnival with the Bristol Samba Bane
Hi all I have to cancel. I am in the throws of trying to sale my house and finding a new place. Be shame to miss this one.
Hi, this will be the first time I meet up with the group, I'm a bit nervous about meeting a group of potential 46 people in a pub, how will I know who is part of this group?

Hi Mandy. I found that the trick was to have a really good look at some of the pictures, especially the ones with 'organiser', or 'co-organiser'. When you get there you usually spot someone from their photos and we really are a friendly bunch, if we see anyone looking left out or lost, we usually pounce on them pretty sharpish :-)

I decided to start this group because there isn't one in bath for social get togethers, walking, dining, film, music gigs etc.
Discounts on Drinks Sunday - Thursday
574 Bristol Foragers
459 wild swimmers
I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
