Beginners Tango Class

After attending the first beginners class is was suggeested to put up the date for the next one.

Around 16 people attended, some as a couple and some singles. We learnt some basic steps for the first hour, and changed partners regularly so no one is left on their own.

Afterwards, there was time for coffee drinking, chatting and to practice what we had learnt.

The class is run by Joceleyne (

The class is open to all, regardless of previous experience.

I don't actually host the event as such, its not really possible to do this as its open to non Meetup members, but I'm very happy to be an initiaal point of contact for anyone who may feel a little unsure.

I've put in the next few dates, however classes will be ongoing.

People in the class are very freindly and there is a good atmosphere. Jocelyn and her partner are good teachers, patient and supportive. Class runs for well over an hour and then we are encouraged to stay and practice. We go to the pub after so it's a very social evening.
