Let's focus on Emacs for our November meeting!

We can kick off with some hands on time, getting Emacs installed and configured for an efficient Clojure workflow. It sounds like quite a few folks have struggled with this and it could be a big help for folks new to Clojure and/or new to Emacs.

I hope we'll also get some Emacs old hands to share their "pro tips" so we can all learn ways to be more productive with this tool chain and be exposed to some of the power behind this venerable editor that its users seem so enthusiastic about!

Thanks for organizing. I had a great time. The meeting rekindled my interest in Emacs and I learned about a bunch of new tricks/tools from folks. Thanks guys!

emacs setup was a bit unorganized, but enough people were there to help it turned out great

would have liked to see a wiki or something pointing to documentation at least for OSX that people could have gone through and then had more group discussion time to talk about the benefits.

looking forward to reviewing code and learning from others code next time

Thanx to everyone who turned up with their laptops to make our November meeting such a success - especially our Emacs gurus who acted as guides and instructors and shared their love of the institution that is Emacs!
