This is a group to meet other local Shiba Inu owners and lovers around the Bay area. All are welcome from all around and we will rotate the meet ups through out the bay. Have some Shibatastic good times, and maybe a picnic or two. Bring your well behaved Shiba and come play with us. Other well behaved siblings can come as well.

This group is going to not only be for fun, but for education of the breed and training help as well. With proper training and socialization any dog can do anything. My Shiba, Kumiko, is a Service Dog in Training. She is my helper, my friend, and always by my side. She helps me in ways no one ever could. Dogs are special, and Shiba's hold a special place for me. They are an incredible breed.

Any donations received at the meetups will go toward the cost of this site, snacks at the meetups, and saving up to do really fun events.

I'd hope you would reconsider coming to other meet-ups, as I know that the owners I spoke to did like to share their shiba stories, so I am sorry we did not have a chance to chat with you. I am new to owning one, as I got Nanea about a year ago. She loves going to the dog park & other shibas, so let me know if you would be up to meeting sometime. Thanks!”
