I have a Master's in Psychology and am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, Counselor, and Coach. My undergraduate is in Education, Behavior Modification, and Curriculum Writing.
I have been working 'on call' with Kaiser Permanente for the past 25+ years, writing curriculum and facilitating classes for the Health Education Department. Working with classes on Adult Children of Dysfunctional Families, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD), Parenting, Parenting ADHD, Complicated Headaches, Tobacco Cessation, Chronic Pain, and Others.
For eight of those years I helped develop and facilitated a class on Chronic Pain and Chronic Illness using Cognitive Behavioral Skills.
I myself have suffered chronic pain, sleep deprivation, and overwhelm for many years.
Because chronic pain and illness are extremely difficult to live with on a daily basis ... finding a group of people who share common conditions can be a life saver and a safe place to support each other.
Over the years, I have gathered a wealth of knowledge on how to live more effectively with chronic pain and illness.
Come join together with me and others to share our experiences, compassion, resources, and help support new ways of living despite the pain and discomfort.
It is possible to live a healthy and happy life ... even with daily pain and illness!!!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
