Chuckanut Ridge Hike

Start at the North Chuckanut Trail Head, head up the Hemlock trail, side track on the easy Salail Trail and up Dan's Traverse. Moderate pace. Dog friendly. I am suggesting May 5th, but am open to change

Since it is on Cindo de Mayo, would anyone want to join me for a Mexican food lunch after the hike? Viva la fiesta!

I have ridden on several bike rides that started in Edison. We park at the high school there. The little town is pretty cool. Glad you guys had a good hike today : )

Fun! If a little longer and harder than I expected. But it was perfect for me to get some exercise!

There's some confusion about whether or not the Discover Pass is required at the North Chuckanut Mountain Trailhead. It is not required. The trailhead is under the control of Whatcom County Parks. Further south on Chuckanut, Larrabee State Park and Clayton Beach parking areas (state lands) do require the Discover Pass.

Can someone tell me about how long this hike usually takes? I haven't dine this trail before. Thanks.

I didn't think you need a Discover Pass to park at that trailhead, but if so, I do have one and can also drive if needed. I live in Everson so anyone who lives between there and the trailhead I could pick up.

Never mind, the map showed the trail farther south on Chuckanut Drive. I think we are okay to park.

Is there parking? From what I know you need the Discover Pass to park or pay $10. Can we park along Chuckanut?
