The Bellmore Widows and Widowers group is a very active and social group. It was started to reach out to other people in similar situations who are past bereavement and want to get out of the house and have some fun. We're hoping people will participate in our many activities during the month so we can get to know one another, share ideas and laugh. If you have any questions or would like to speak first to the organizer Guy or co-organizer Vicki, please feel free to contact us. We realize that the first step is hard to take in reaching out so we want to make this as safe and as pleasant as we can and we're here to answer any questions you may have.
We invite all of our members to comment and share ideas, suggestions and feedback, however, please refrain from using the website as an open forum for criticism, politics or religious communication. Feel free to use our message board for those topics. If there are any issues you are unhappy about, you can notify one of the organizers or the individual directly. Please be careful not to forward or post anything on the website that might be offensive to someone else.
Anyone who joins and is not active (attending events or looking at website) website for three months will be removed as an inactive member; also anyone who RSVPs for an event and is a no show more than 2 times will be removed. Our dues are $5 that is collected at our monthly dinner (only if you attend). Our goal with this group is to help each other move on and enjoy what life has to offer from here on.
