Where do you do most of your singing? (the shower, in the car, while cooking, the karaoke bar, in my head -- if I sang out loud someone might hear me!)

Kinda everywhere, that's my problem.

What other kinds of singing classes have you taken? Have you sung in a chorus before? Were these good experiences?

Some individual lessons. I tried singing in a big chorus, but it was too big and got lost.

Do you play any other musical instruments? What have you always wanted to play, but haven't?

does "kazoo" count as an insturment?

Which song or poem has been going through your head as you're typing this?

I just discovered Cheryl Wheeler, who performed a song about Estate Sales...something up my alley. I was just listening to "Arrow," so that's in my head right now.

Introduction

I used to sing with my sisters as we did the dishes after dinner. We could have done some killer harmony if we had some training. I LOVE singing in a group!

What Katherine K. is saying about this Meetup Group

It always seemed like there was a shortage of really fun things to do that don't cost a lot of money...but, since I've found this harmony group, I've been having all sorts of fun. Singing in a safe place with a lively group of people has helped me gain confidence to sing out loud elsewhere. And, I've found that "Happy Birthday" in harmony makes the song really feel like a celebration. Michèle is a genius at drawing sound out of us that we hadn't thought possible. And, together, we make music!
