First Book Choice: Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen

Thank you very much to those who came out yesterday to very first meeting of The Bethesda Young Professionals Book and Social Club!

It was wonderful to meet those of you who came, and I loom forward to meeting the members who were unable to join us last night.

Here is a quick summary of what we decided yesterday:

Our first book (selected by the group) is Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. The book is available at Amazon or at your local bookstore. As of this email, there are 85 copies of this book available in the Montgomery County Library system

The group has decided to meet every two weeks or so. This will allow us to take a more casual and social approach to discussing the book. A few days before, we can decide up to what page we will discuss, so that there are no spoilers.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, May 11th for the next meeting. Details about time and location to follow.

Your input is appreciated, so please let me know if you have any feedback.

See you all soon!
