We provide bicycle repair workshops where you can use our tools and equipment to repair and maintain your own bicycle. Our volunteer mechanics are at hand to provide as much help as you need, from letting you know where a certain wrench is to walking you through a hub overhaul or straightening a wheel. Knowing your bike makes cycling more enjoyable. We're here to help you have a great time on your bike, rather than be burdened with mechanical troubles. We'll also help you be more prepared when mechanical issues arise. We hold our workshops in various locations in Orange County. Currently, our most frequent locations are in Orange and Santa Ana:
Orange – First Saturdays: on the first Saturday of every month from 9 am – 1 pm we're at the Old Towne Orange Farmers and Artisans Market at Cypress St. and Palm Ave. near the Orange circle.
Santa Ana -
Second Saturdays: on the second Saturday of every month from 12 noon - 4 pm we're at El Centro Cultural de México at 313 N. Birch St. in downtown Santa Ana.
Third Fridays (youth 18 and under only): on the third Friday of every month from 3 - 7 pm we're at the Jerome Center TeenSpace at 726 S. Center St.. These workshops are offered at no charge for TeenSpace youth aged 18 and under. Call (714) 647-6559 for more information about TeenSpace.
Last Saturdays: on the last Saturday of every month from 11 am – 4 pm we're at the East End Promenade in front of the Yost Theater at 3rd St. and Spurgeon St. in downtown Santa Ana. Don't ride your bike in the Promenade or on the sidewalk – tickets are likely and start at $100. Our workshops are supported by your donations. No one is turned away for lack of funds.
