Calling all people who remember how fun it is to play board games! Let's connect over a good game or two. Good games come from board game meetups. My wife and I met playing Scrabble and we think you should say more than "It's your turn" when you are playing. Board games and card games are a great way to connect. We play mostly Euro-style strategy games. This means that the games keep everyone engaged till the end. Some favorites include: Caylus, Agricola, Stone Age, Genoa, Ticket to Ride, RA, Seven Wonders, El Grande, Settlers of Catan, Manila, Olympos, Kingdom Builder, Power Grid, and Lords of Waterdeep. If those games don't ring a bell, don't worry. Each game starts with a review or teaching of the rules and you probably won't be the only one who hasn't played. The games are in the finished basement and there are only stairs as access. Also, there is a miniature-dachshund here. He has short hair but I mention it in case you are allergic to dogs. I recently moved over five hundred games from Austin to Atlanta and we need to find more people to play then with us at our home in Suwanee. Occasionally we'll branch out to other locations and we enjoy playing with other game meetups around town.
