this was my first aws meetup and it was really helpful so thanks. I am a reporter (at Gigaom) and am curious what services amazon does not offer now that you would like to see?

Thanks again for making it happen Mark! Two ideas for the next round:
    - Perhaps try a theme for the night (security, performance, availability, storage, hybrid, AWS 101, etc. etc.) and have all of the presentations focus on that topic?
    - We haven't had much time for discussion in the first two. In addition to a presentation or two, perhaps we do some type of moderated panel/Q&A on a topic?

+1 on the panel/feedback. also might be nice to filter out some of the presentations that are essentially sales pitches. the AWS rep was nice cause it's good to hear things from the horses mouth, but some of the other resellers and partners were overtly presenting sales and marketing decks, not tech talks.

Completely agree gentlemen. I'm thinking our next set of presentations should focus on measuring performance. Leveraging Cloud Watch and other tools. I'm working on the next meeting date/space, targeting Monday 12/17. If anyone would like to present in this focus area, please email me. Thank you.

Nice Meetup, a little of everything. Amazon's regional rep was greatly appreciated. Good stuff, keep it going. I drove from Providence and was happy with the meeting.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
