I like the idea of trying to get a vimcasts workshop coming to Boston. I am not sure if it is possible, but it might be interesting to try to get Steve Losh to come to Boston and speak. His blog says he's from Rochester... about a 7 hour drive away. We should try to convince him he'd have a fun weekend in Boston and that we have a lot of enthusiastic vimmers who would love to hear him talk.

Great presentations. Easy to follow and engaging. Conway's game of Life in Vim was especially cool.

I enjoyed Ben's interactive presentation. It was like a vim-tutor for vimscript. And Game of Life written in vimscript? Totally awesome!

I liked this one a lot. I had never programmed vimscript before and it was a good orientation.

Another truly superb night of presentations. Very much appreciated both them and the kind hospitality of our Thoughtbot hosts!

It would be great if someone can spend a good 30 minutes with me and help me to configure Vim on Kubuntu and MacVim. I have gone over many online tutorials, but they are just as confusing as the Vim itself. I will buy you a lunch.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
