Introduction

I've just started using Vim recently, and I think that I've got the basics down. I'm always on the lookout for new good ideas, and have some plugins that I'd love to write myself, too....

  • Glad the talk was timely for you, Matt. It depends upon what you're trying to accomplish, but BEL is just a very, very different thing from an OWL ontology with a GUI on it. BEL is a language for describing scientific findings in the form of genes, proteins, etc., and the causal and correlative relationships between them. Once knowledge has been represented in that way, there are all kinds of things you can do with it. Let me know if you guys want to talk about this some more.
