What is a shoe box swap? A shoe box swap is where you create a card and bring enough supplies so each person can create your card. All supplies are put in a shoe box (or other box) and are passed person to person to create. If we have 12 people you will leave with 12 different cards.
There will not be a theme for this swap but all cards are to be full cards. Please bring enough supplies for everyone to make your card including all cardstock, stamps, inks, embellishments, tools, etc., along with your own adhesive and basic tools (like scissors, bone folder, etc) to use on all the projects we make. Please make sure all of your supplies are labeled with either your name or initials, so we all go home with the stuff we brought. Each person is to provide a sample of their card for reference in your box. Please also separate your supplies into individual baggies or envelopes containing everything each person needs to do your card. This really helps make the swap go more smoothly. You do not need to provide envelopes. If you are NOT using Stampin Up cardstock please make sure to use a good quality paper. You have to provide everything needed to make the card you design.
This will be a pot luck so please bring something to share. I will provide the drinks and paper products. Please post what you will bring for the pot luck.
If you have any questions please let me know.
