Hi folks.

For those who would like to know more about navigation and map reading skills.

An easy walk, but have you ever studied the map and the surrounding areas to know where you are going.

Hopefully you will gain the confidence to lead a walk for us sometime.

Every month, I will be offering people a chance of learning new skills.

I hope you all past your test without cheating? Sue does this now mean that you will be able to find your way out of underground car parks X

well we learned today that the thin black lines are not the same as the double black lines, and if the black lines have green lines and are not orange or have green dots rather than green arrows, that the farmer in the field may have a shot gun, thanks stuart, was a lovely afternoon and nice to learn something usefull

The first lesson will start of in a nice easy location. As we gain more confidence on how to read a map and use our compass, then we will move further afield.
The first lesson will be all about what a map is and what the symbols mean.
Second part of the lesson will be how to use a compass. This will be then done in the field at Golden Acre.
