A lovely walk round Judy woods and surrounding areas (5-6 miles), we start off at the main entrance to the woods on station road, there is tons of car parking spaces on the road, and heading up to the village of norwood green. station road is also very close to Huddersfield road (A641) for anyone wanting to come by bus.
after heading up through the beautiful wood and reading about why jagger woods is now better known as judy woods we will make our way on a little road section and into another wooded area, we will have a little stop here for anyone wanting to bring lunch before we head off across a field and another woodland area and some fields into the lovely village of coley. its then a little road section before we get to st johns church and we find ourselves once again crossing some fields back to the woods.
we then climb some steep steps and walk down into norwood green (there is a pub here) before we head back to station road.
please note this is mainly a flat walk but there are a few (3-4) sets of steep steps to climb in the woods, picture added.
