OK, so without any public footpath directly across the airport runway we got some extra bonus miles. Thanks Gareth. Good job we had the excellent homemade chocolate buns for extra energy. Top marks Megan.

What a good walk - even though it was longer than we initially thought! good company , good weather and lovely chocolate buns thanks to Megan for the latter. Oh and of course the customary mud for most of the way didn't spoil the day. Thanks Gareth for another memorable walk.

Thanks for organising again Gareth, one of the hardest walks I have done so far, but we had fun and a laugh wading through the mud!! Good to see the planes though .........

Sorry I missed the walk. Arrived a bit late because I was looking for the pub on the main road, which it isn't! By the time I got there the group had left - fair enough. Must check maps more carefully next time before leaving!
