Hello Friends.

A Grade 3 walk. Click here for more info.

This is a good strong 12 mile walk, which starts and finishes at Baildon town center. We start by heading south a little, before heading west along a fields and stiles to reach Bracken Hall Country side Centre.

A short rest stop here as we admire the views before heading north along the Millennium Way to Weecher Reservoir. We then head across Burley Moor to reach our next main stop, the wonderful farmhouse cafe at Burley.

Back uphill over the next valley, we then arrive at Baildon to finish our walk.

The walk is expected to take no more than 6 hours. This is to take in to account the length of time for the rest stops.

Public Transport

There is a bus service no.626 which leaves Shipley Market Place S7 at 9.43 arriving at Baildon at 9.58 am.  When the bus arrives in Baildon, walk across the road to The Angel Public House.

We will leave at 10.15 am prompt. If you are running late or need directions, then please ring me.

Fees

Either bring £1 to pay for the walk or £10 for your annual membership

If someone could give me and my Westie a lift we would be very greatful. We are both well behaved and can be picked up from a station convenient to you. Thanks a lot for reading.
