5.6 mile walk that includes the reservoir, the moors, woods and most importantly a pub! so hopefully something for everyone and mostly off-road! ..and even a visit to North America! (Farm ruins that they used as tank practice in the war!)
UPDATE: recce done tonight! Thanks to Diane and Linda! Its a bit harder than I remembered sorry.. but worth it for the views! The bit round the reservoir is pretty easy but the uphill bit to the moors is not and its longer than I thought.. so if you're not good with hills you might struggle.. sorry! Dogs will need to be on leads too as there were lambs and grouse on the paths and signs saying "bird nesting - dogs on leads March to July"
Parking and Meet in the Langsett Barn Car Park, if its full, there is another car park further up the main road and the Flouch car park even further up! We will be calling at The Waggon and Horses pub for a well deserved drink at the end but this only has a very small car park so please don't park there.
Thanks.. see you there!
