    I'm not reading anyone else's comments till after I've written mine because I know I'll just end up repeating. Fabulous hospitality from Sue n'Linz. I'm sure Norfolk would still be pretty even if you weren't there but you do a fantastic job at showing us the best bits.

    Thanks to Liz for sharing and putting up with my anti-radiator rants, thanks to Jane for driving especially across the Roundabout of Doom and to all the above plus Sheila for the relaxing company and eclectic conversation.

    What lovely photos Jane - as you show lots of flowers, froglets, views, happy times with friends +++ - they bring back many thoughts about a lovely weekend. I've added a few comments to the photos, I couldn't resist.

    Absolutely brilliant weekend many thanks to the best hosts in Norfolk the lovely Sue and Linz, you made it a great experience with all your knowledge of virtually everything, such fun too especially in the toy shop! Thankyou Linz for hiding the beware of the adders sign, I wondered why you were loitering!! And yes Norfolk is a wonderful part of the country, I can a see the attraction now.

    Thanks guys, for being such good sports and listening to my constant wildlife observations, saying how beautiful Norfolk is, describing length and girth of adders, and generally going along with all our suggestions. Not sure about the friendliness of the horses though <I;-)

    Ditto, so relaxing, well planned and thoroughly enjoyed by us all. Lovely countryside, wildlife, friendly horses, good food, what's not to like! Thank you, Sue and Linz for organising, and Liz, Sheila and Christine for your good company.

    Hi
    The plans for the weekend sound great to me, really looking forward to it all. Jane would you like me to pick up the pies on my way to yours on Friday morning

    Hi there y'all
    What do you think about us coming to pick you up on Friday evening and then you getting a taxi back so Jane can have a drinkie-poo with us? The taxi won't be much divided by 4, maybe a couple of quid each.
    Cheers sue n Linz x x x Ps if you get here early afternoon, you could come here earlier and we can explore our environs somewhat. Let us know what sounds good for you.

      Plus, if you leave at 10 you'll be in Sheringsham 3ish, so you're welcome to give us a call anytime and. We'll pick you up.

      Cool but unless you have a people carrier these days one of you needs to stay at home and watch world cup build-up waffle. You can toss for it. I think 10 is good too. Between the rush hours.

    Not long now! Here is a suggested itinerary:

    Friday eve: come to No 33 for nibbles, drinks and something more substantial. Is asparagus risotto OK? RSVP if this is not your cup of tea;

    Saturday am: A lovely 4-5 mile walk taking in 2 of Norfolk's 3 Peaks. Don't worry - if you can climb your own stairs, you'll manage these! This will take in woods, heath-land and the coastal path;

    Saturday pm: If not beguiled by the Sheringham shops, join us for a 3 mile afternoon stroll around Muckleborough Hill. We could finish with coffee at the elegant Pheasant Hotel;

    Saturday eve: Please can I join you for dinner at one of the eateries in Sheringham? Linz will be watching the World Cup;

    Sunday am: We'd love to show you the rhododrendrons at Sheringham Park, which should be spectacular in June. Join us for a stroll there, finishing off with lunch at the National Trust cafe, before you set off for home. I can get you free parking plus 20% off in the cafe. Looking forward to seeing you :-)
