Hello Janice,

Thank you for the welcoming email.  Surely, agreeing on what works best for all involved is the best solution.  Mike adjusted the settings so that anyone can plan a meetup on Independent Coffee Lovers.  I work anti-social hours, and I hope someday to change that.  For now, early Saturday is the best time I can offer.  I also get 6 weeks of holiday a year, so I can plan a 2 pm when that comes around.  Enjoy your day on Friday!

Best regards,
Peter

Hello Peter,
I am living in Newhaven, Certainly two, if not three times in the week I like to trvel to" bountiful "Brighton
time varying according to what my plans are.
I will be going to theThe Meet up this coming Friday 2pm. largely because the time of meeting suits me well.
I would certainly wish to be part of the Conversation Cafe, my main problem for me if it is held HOVE in the evening it is more problemtic.
It is good that you are obviously intent on making this All Work, so thank you for that.
I will look forward to meeting you at some point ,good to read your words.

Regards Janice George-Allen.

My name is Peter Varley.  I have not met many of you.  Truthfully, I have been to only one of these Independent Coffee Lover meetups.  I am acting on faith to step up to the organiser role.  I have run another conversation group for 3 years called Conversation Cafe.  It also began as a coffee and cake social.  However,as it grew it needed to be moved to a pub, where we occupy a couple of rooms once a month.  As I say, I don't know all about scheduling, for I work Saturdays and start my shift at 12:00.  I can promise to make the social a regular monthly thing.   I seem to be treating Meetup like the game Monopoly.  My own group meets 4 or 5 times a month, and I enjoy reaching more people with it.  So, I want to get back to the roots of coffee with conversation, and I have noted a couple of good sites when about town, with this meetup in mind.  I hope to get to know you.  And also I hope that our two distinct groups can form into a whole.  And perhaps there are ideas which I use to operate that can be brought to Coffee Lovers, and vice versa.  Mostly, I hope I get something out of the meetup experience by visiting the independent shoppes.  I cannot make the NOV 17 date, however, because of obligations.  But let's all meet in December.

Best regards,
Pete
