Be the boss of your own happiness with the Happy Startup School

The Happy Startup School is helping a new breed of entrepreneur to realise their dreams. Startups that put people first and measure success in happiness, as well as profits. They believe the future belongs to purpose-driven companies that are focused on sustainable business, not short–term profits – think Southwest Airlines over Ryanair. They're at the start of their journey to build a community of people that believe there’s a better way to do business – better from the human side, better from the customer side, and as it turns out, better from the profit side too.

At this event Laurence McCahill and Carlos Saba (from Brighton-based startup consultancy Spook Studio) will be sharing their vision for the School and demonstrate how we can build better, happier and more profitable businesses. Working collaboratively, they'll help you define your startup vision and put you in the right direction towards creating a more meaningful business.

They ask that all attendees come with a startup idea (made up is fine, a real one is better!) that you'd like to explore on the day. There'll be a little homework and a group exercise for all attending (it's fun, don't worry!) so you can push your ideas forward and take the first, tentative steps to creating your own happy startup.
