Three-thinkers business club – Focus on data

This month we’re starting the meeting with a talk by Peter Passaro, Director of Data Science at Datanauts. We’ll be looking at big data, data scraping and data visualization; discussing how businesses can make use of data; and also what opportunities it presents to support and enable businesses to be more environmentally sustainable and provide more social impact.

We’ll also give you a preview of an exciting project that is using data to make Brighton one of the leading lights in creating a new innovation economy for the UK, and show you how you can get involved.

After the presentation we’ll move onto our facilitated brainstorming sessions where you’ll have the chance to get the group working on any business ideas, opportunities or issues you want to discuss. You’ll come away with specific solutions and actions for your business and also the satisfaction of having helped others with their ideas too.

The Three-thinkers is for values-led businesses who want to collaborate to build their businesses and a better economy. The club meets in Brighton on the first Tuesday of every other month.

The common bond of members is their commitment to a three-thinking economy where transactions are undertaken with a consideration of impact across the three value areas of people, planet and profit.
