7.00 Doors Open 7.15 Welcome and introductions 7.30 Colin Burns - Social Media - Twitter for Business No matter how you look at it, it is obvious that more and more businesses are testing out how effective Twitter can be for business. What is Twitter? Is it a tool to create new relationships? Is it a tool for maintaining relationships? Is it a tool to monitor your brand and your competitors brand? Is it a tool to create brand awareness? Is it all of the above? Tonight we'll take a look at what Twitter is and explore how businesses can use Twitter in a number of ways to get that competitive advantage that they are looking for. We'll look at it from two unique perspectives. How can Twitter be used most effectively by big business. How can Twitter be used most effectively by sole traders or freelancers. To effectively use Twitter (from a business strategy perspective) requires different techniques for different types of size businesses. Tonight we'll explore those methods and discuss other tools & techniques that you or your business uses to engage with others in the Twitterverse! 8.25 Wrap-up and notices 8.35 Head to Milano for networking over a beer, soft-drink or coffee.
