This month, designer Teale Shapcott will be presenting a talk on 'Embedding Usability into your Designs'. Her presentation will include:

Relevance of usability in different web application development contexts
Myths & misconceptions about usability
Underlying factors (Features, Management, Technology & UI) that drive usability myths
User Interface prototypes saving time & money for both waterfall & agile projects.
Embedding usability practice into agile application development.

Following Teale's talk we'll have some informal discussion and as usually we will conclude the night by heading for a drink at the local bar at the top of Queen St mall.

Thought that whilst it was a large company methodology many of the techniques can be used in smaller teams. Really like the idea of persona's and the way that multiple people do the role playing. Presenter had excellent skills and great slides
