This Meetup group was started so that we could photograph the natural environment and flora and fauna of the Brisbane area.
We want to explore suburban Brisbane and photograph the wide variety of bird life, both local and migratory, in the parks and the shore line around the bay.
We don't care what type of camera you use. It's not necessarily size that counts but rather the photographer's eye.
We don't run these Meetups as tutorials but rather share our knowledge when asked and help out when we can. We are all amateurs!
The money collected is used to cover the Meetup administration costs of running the group. We charge $3.00 per person (including guests) per Meetup and arrange a sausage sizzle at the venue where BBQ facilities exist.
As all Meetups are held outdoors we recommend you always bring a hat, drinking water, sunscreen, insect repellent and even some wet weather gear!
Everyone is welcome to join so if you are interested in bird and nature photography then you should sign up and start clicking.
