Please read the below carefully, as this will a bit different from a regular bar trek!
Dear Bar Trekkers,
This week Oktoberfest touches down again in Brussels!
While not as elaborate as the real one in Munich, it's still a lot of good fun, so clearly bar trek needs a presence! Expect lots of lederhosen, humptata music and of course plenty of beer distributed non-stop by the numerous beer maids! Also plenty of German food and snacks available.
The first few days are already fully booked, so I put our visit on Sunday evening. As closing time is already at 22h30, this should be no problem for the next day, right ;-) Please note that the start time for the bar trek is already 18h.
This is where things get a bit tricky. I have booked 3 tables, so space for 24 people, and this is pretty strict! The organisation will not allow people to stay if they don't have a space at a table. Being Sunday night there might be some unbooked tables, but I can't guarantee that! So I recommend you only show up if you have RSVPd Yes. Otherwise it's likely you won't have a space. Furthermore they expect people to arrive between 18h and 19h. After that I think that the organizers are free to give the untaken spaces away! SO if you can't make the 18h-19h timeframe, please do not RSVP, as your space will probably not be available anymore afterwards.
Here's a map to the venue: http://tinyurl.com/3flod83 Big tent on place Jourdan, you can't miss it really. The tables are booked under my name: David Van den Bunder.
As always phone/text me at 0497/053166 in case you can't find us.
See you there,
