The purpose of the group meetings will be to provide an intellectual atmosphere where group members can share and discuss ideas and opinions about scholarly philosophical topics. There will be relatively short reading/writing assignments which group members can prepare for prior to attending the meetings. Note that the group meetings will not in any way or form be a place to promote religious, personal, political, or any other biased views. The members are assumed to have basic backgrounds in Philosophy or related disciplines and be able to understand/discuss in English language related topics.
