Regular Meeting of the AMG (East of Elon Home Brewing Special Guest)

Its time four our next regular open meeting of the Alamance Makers Guild!

We just finished a VERY successful Burlington Mini Maker Faire with about 4000 visitors! Thanks to everyone who participated, volunteered, planned, and sponsored. We want to continue to build on that momentum!

On the schedule for this meeting:

* Burlington Mini Maker Faire Recap/Stories
* Show-N-Tell (Bring in your projects to talk about)
* Upcoming Saturday Meetings at Holly Hill Mall
* Launching the Teen Chapter of the Alamance Makers Guild
* Special Topic/Guest Speaker: East of Elon Home Brewing Club (Ian Baltutis)

As always we'll have MiMi's Pizza buffet style for $5 for anyone who wishes to join us for dinner (its VERY important to RSVP so we'll have an accurate count for ordering dinner). Our meetings are open to new members or curious visitors and as always are family friendly.

Ian Balutis is our special guest speaker. Ian is the founder of the "East of Elon Home Brewing Club" and exhibited with us at the 2013 Burlington Mini Maker Faire. He'll be talking to us about his club, home brewing techniques, and some of the events that they do. Its not all about beer making either, East of Elon also have family friendly events where they make soft drinks of various kinds. (In past talks we've learned about laser cutting, 3D printing, CNC Routing, Jewelry Making, Recycled Crochet, Blacksmithing, Wood Turning, Electronics, Soldering, and more... so now add brewing to the list!)

Reminder: If you took any photos or video at the recent Burlington Mini Maker Faire please share them with us. Send an e-mail to [masked] to share via dropbox, or bring a DVD/CD/Memory Stick to the meeting.

If you have questions or comments OR if you have requests for future meetings please contact us at [masked].

Looking forward to seeing as many of you there as possible!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
