For the February Open Meeting of the Alamance Makers Guild we are pleased to support the Math and Science night at Efland-Cheeks Elementary School!
The Alamance Makers Guild will be exhibiting STEM related projects, generally promoting the guild and the teen guild, and promoting the 2014 Burlington Mini Maker Faire in April.
If you are able to exhibit with us (showing off a project of some kind) then please contact Ben Harris at [masked] and work out details between now and January 31st. If you'd like to help out at our exhibit (talking to parents and students about STEM, the Maker Movement, Maker Faire, and the AMG) please also let Ben know.
Otherwise we hope that as many of you as possible will attend the event as spectators to help show support for science and math! There will be a lot of other exhibitors at this event including SplatSpace and other folks who have (or will) exhibit at the Burlington Mini Maker Faire! There won't be any dinner at this event, although some folks might get together socially for a late snack afterwards.
Hope to see as many of you there as possible! And remember, this is your chance for a great show-n-tell exhibit that will help inspire younger folks to get their hands dirty and their minds engaged in STEM!
