Write For The Flynn Center, See Free Shows

Hi Writers,

We have an exciting opportunity courtesy of the Flynn Center. They have asked us if we'd be willing to write about events held at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts. The good folks at the Flynn would like to meet with us at 7:30 on May 1st, after our regular meeting, to talk about the possibilities and answer your questions. In brief, though:

What you'd do: Write for the blog before the event and after (a preview and review).

What you'd get: Ticket to the event--possibly two, depending on the popularity of the show. We'll discuss this.

Who chooses the event: You do! Any Flynn Center event, not an event in which a party rented some space at the Flynn.

How many writers per event? One.

Your byline would list you as a member of the Burlington Writers Workshop.

This opportunity is open to Burlington Writers Workshop members. To be a member, you have to attend one meeting. If you attend tomorrow's Book Launch Party or the April 24th or the April 28th meeting, you're eligible to come to this.

There is no limit to the attendance at this meeting, but there is a limit to attendance to the workshop portion of the meeting (now starting at 6PM), so please make sure you RSVP accordingly.

Thanks all! If you have questions, let me know.
