IQST call for volunteers had the following "The work is to register guests, check the guests' admission stamp at the hall entrance, and patrol in the hall in case guests has questions."
So I would think that there would be a list of registrants at the registration desk but printing is certainly the safe option.

Since there doesn't seem to be an actual ticket for this event I'll just pull up the confirmation on my iphone (should be sufficient, right?). Anyone know which c-train to take from downtown? Is it the same one you would take to go to SAIT? Name of stop/platform to get off at??

I'm not sure how they are checking the tickets - do they have a list, or do you need to bring a copy of your confirmation email? I plan to print my confirmation and have it with me.

I'll be in the foyer on the lower level by 5:45. I'll be wearing a bright green golf shirt. However, I think its more important for everyone to get a good seat than to meet before the talk. After the event, we can get togther again in the lower level foyer and perhaps decide to go to the food court 1 level up in the western part of the building.

Would that be Casio A & B? in the MacEwan Student Conference centre?

    September 19, 2013

    • Roland D.

No, the room we want is the lower level/basement

I am a time traveler, slowly traveling into the future!

I will have to agree with the Vulcans, that reverse time travel cannot take place, partly because the earth, our slar system & our galaxy are all travelling through time and space, therefore any reverse time travel would also involve reverse space travel. I look forward to be proven wrong! ;-)

Every time I travel into the future, I end up in the present moment!

So if the program is to start at 7 pm I guess we can plan to meet somewhere on campus, say at 6:40? Meeting in Food court might be a good idea as it is close to the venue and easy to find. What do you say Roland?

Sounds like an interesting eve. My 7 year old really wants to come to the lecture. Of course, he just watched Dr Who and has some ideas :D

And I don't want any comments about you can't make it at 7 pm, unless of course, the opinion of the speaker is that time travel cannot take place, then you're forgiven.
