RE: [businessnetwork-9] Be Constructive

I have to agree. If we disagree with something that someone else says we don’t have to resort to negative and overly critical comments in order to get our point across. Just requesting that we keep the topic to business related matters would have been enough.

I just joined this group and must say was surprise to see BArmstrong’s harsh response to Amina.

We’re all adults here. I’m sure Amina did not mean to overload the inbox. And even if she had, I’m sure she didn’t mean to.  I’m sure, at one point or another, we’ve all clicked that “Send” button, then 2 seconds later wonders why we did, and whether it was appropriate, etc.

A simple “Please keep mails related to topic” or alike would do.  There was no need for the harsh remarks:

“However, please save the forwarded drivel for somwhere else. there is no such thing as a "Money angel" and we as business people do not need to waste our time with such crap. If you feel compelled to forward anything that says "forward for luck", then go build yourself a few yahoo accounts and knock yourself out.”

These remarks will only cause bitterness and resentment amonst the group.

I do agree with Armstrong’s point, however, the content was unneccessary.

We’re all here for the same reason.  Whether to launch a business, spread our ideas, etc., etc.,  Bottomline is to help one another in regards to our topic of interest, and growth in general.   I’ve never met any of you, and do look forward to,  but as a new member,  just from opening that respond, gave me a bad vibe.

Anyways,  just a thought….

Thanks for your time.

JACK

Dear ALL,

MY APOLOGIES....No offence was intended...this got included in error when I was forwarding to friends and family...I respect the time and intelligence of my business colleagues and will ensure that only Business Related mails be sent in future communications.

Ps. I know there is no such thing as a Money Angel..Tooth Fairy or Santa Claus for that matter etc...however in our Busy, Professional, Hectic lives we sometimes forget the enchantment & innocence of childhood fairy tales...I believe that there is magic in the power of fantasy, faith, trust...Besides ones brain does need to take a 'flight of fantasy' once in a while for sanities sake...you know what they say..."ALL work and no Play".....;-)

Chain letters and the like are not an acceptable type of email to be sending to groups. In fact, many would argue that they should not be sent in any case. They use up bandwidth, fill up mail folders, and waste people's time.

If you want to send a personal message, that is fine. However, please save the forwarded drivel for somwhere else. there is no such thing as a "Money angel" and we as business people do not need to waste our time with such crap.
If you feel compelled to forward anything that says "forward for luck", then go build yourself a few yahoo accounts and knock yourself out.

Thank you

B. Armstrong

Money Angel
This is a money angel
Pass it to 6 of your good friends, or family
and be rich in 4 Days.
Pass it to 12 of your good friends or family
and be rich in 2 Days.
I am not joking. You will find an unexpected windfall.
If you delete it, you will never know!
