A spoof on the popular film - Jubilations' forte.
Tonight, the world famous Dorchester Hotel, the oldest and most luxurious hotel in the city, is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The hotel manager is a little worried about the "incidents" hotel guests have always told stories of strange encounters... but they seem to be getting more frequent, and more intense... who ya gonna call? Meet Pete Winkman... Pete is the head maintenance man at the hotel, but just until he can raise the money to go back to school. When the hotel manager says he would pay almost anything to get rid of these "things"... Pete seizes the opportunity and announces that he and his two friends will rid the hotel of its unwanted visitors because they... ain't afraid of no ghost!
Book your tickets directly with Jubilations and ask for Lynn Calder table (I've booked a table for 6 for now - but we can expand pr shrink as required). Make sure you ask for our Club discount which gives you a ticket cost of $51.40 including GST - cheaper than the student/seniors rate. Tickets are $30.95+ GST for children 12 and under. You can change dates up to two days prior if you can't make it. If you decide not to go, please delete your RSVP. Let me know when you buy your ticket(s). If this date doesn't work for you, make a suggestion and I'll schedule another and see if anyone wants to join you.
Seating is between 6:15 and 6:45PM and they serve the meal at our table prior to the show and during intermissions. The food's pretty good and there's a choice of main menu - beef, chicken, fish or vegetarian/pasta. I plan to be there around 6:30PM. Dress code is casual.
Our Thursday night tickets get us into the Aussie Rules duelling piano bar next door, which is a lot of fun, if anyone wants to make a night of it.
If you want to go on your own, the show runs Wed-Sun from Nov 9 until Feb 9. Regular ticket prices range from $64.95 to $74.95 + GST (lower rates for seniors, students and children) and we get the group rate of 25% off on weekdays and 20% off on weekends.
