For this month's meetup we have two presentations on tools.

Building Linked Data apps with ConceptJS

Sridhar Ramachandra, LambdaZen LLC.

ConceptJS is a social cloud computing platform that lets end-users build, use and share information applications. This presentation demonstrates some Linked Data apps built on this platform.

Sridhar Ramachandran is founder of LambdaZen LLC.  He has founded three startups since receiving his Masters degree from MIT in 2000, where he worked under Prof. Charles Leiserson and was one of the authors of the first paper on "Cache-oblivious algorithms". One startup, OATSystems, developed an RFID software framework and was acquired by Checkpoint Systems. During that time, he closely worked with the MIT Auto-ID Center and Prof. Sanjay Sarma to help them develop standards (EPC, ONS, EPCIS), open-source software (Savant) and implement pilot programs (Walmart, P&G, KCC). He has held the VP-Engineering role in his previous two startups.

I'm sad to have to miss what looks to be a meaty session tonight! I look forward to the slides, and hope they'll convey a good sense of the live presentations.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
