Agenda announced: Cambridge Semantic Web Monthly Meetup

Please join us on Tuesday for two new presentations and discussion:

  • Ivan Herman, W3C: W3C Prov Ontology.  "A short and not-too-detailed overview of the provenance ontology, currently being finalized at W3C"
  • Jochen Rau: The Web as Application Platform driven by Semantic Technologies.  "In the last few years, we have seen significant changes in the way people think about and utilize the web. These changes will lead to a different kind of architecture for web applications like content management systems or e-commerce platforms. It is a shift from a traditional monolithic "web application" towards the "web as application" driven by semantic technologies. In this 20 minutes talk, I will outline the architecture of an exemplary system and demo some of its features. This is also a follow-up on the presentation I gave at the Meetup in May."
