Cambridge Semantic Web Message Board › Tomorrow's SPARQL tutorial meetup at MIT
|A former member||
I'm looking forward to seeing many of you tomorrow night at the MIT Stata Center for our SPARQL By Example tutorial. A few people have asked me about the format of the tutorial, so I just wanted to drop a quick nore.
The SPARQL By Example tutorial uses live, runnable SPARQL queries to introduce the SPARQL query language from the ground up. As we go through the material, I'll be running queries against various endpoints around the Web. If you have a laptop with you, you'll be welcome to follow along and try the queries yourself as we go. But since I'll be projecting the queries as I go, it's not at all required that you have your own laptop with you.
No previous experience with SPARQL is expected or required, though familiarity with the basics of RDF or with a query language like SQL is helpful.
Please email me if you have any questions.
I'll see you at 6pm on the 4th floor of the MIT Stata Center.
