Vancouver Questers Meetup 11 February 2014 with John Andreas

Questers  11 February 2014

John Andreas

The Original Synergy:
Creating Interpersonal Harmony &
Compatibility through Archetypal Elemental Roles

Have you ever wondered what logic or system underlies how well people fit together? Whether people are compatible to be together in business or personal relationships?

Or why groups often have insurmountable social issues?

Discover how we can activate one another and create group magic. Learn the ancient social and spiritual roles of tribe, family and community. Connect with and channel the essences of natural elements. Work collaboratively with others to embody the depth and purpose of your natural gifts. Take with you new insights and tools for the enrichment of relationships, teams, groups and partnerships!

APPROACH
Using the Ten Elements System, the seminar will introduce participants to 10 archetypal social and spiritual dimensions. Each element represents a theme group typically relating to one€™s personality, gifts and passions. According to one€™s choosing, each element is meant to be experienced, to be merged with, and to become part of one€™s personal growth development. In addition, each element comes with relationship or group tasks or roles. Working in synergy with other people€™s elemental roles becomes key to producing harmonious and lasting relationships.

BACKGROUND
John Andreas developed the Ten Elements System in 2009 as an extension of the five element clan system of the Dagara culture of West Africa. The writings and workshops of Malidoma Some superbly describe the ritual and social significance of a five element social system. The addition of the Five Emergent Elements creates a higher level of adaption and usefulness in the modern world of today. The Ten Elements System also produces guidance in the area of compatibility and complementation strategies.

FACILITATOR
John Andreas believes in the power of harmonious and synergistic relationships. John believes that by organizing ourselves in effective groups and communities we can greatly help in working with the many challenges we face today.

John has been involved with various spiritual and personal growth groups for 15 years. He has personally both experienced and facilitated heightened and transformative states of consciousness in groups. He seeks to be a catalyst in bringing this wisdom and magic to relationships and groups.

John developed the €œTen Elements of Village Synergy€ to assist intentional community formation in today€™s world. In 2006 John developed the ABC Card Game, a role playing game for the development of small group role interactions. John has had a number of mentors on his journey, including Malidoma and Sobonfu Some, Randy Jones, and John DeRuiter.

John Andreas was born in Switzerland into a German scientist family. His formal education includes sociology, social psychology, psychology, women€™s studies, mythology, mental health, social research design, etc. He also has extensive background in construction project management, building health assessment, eco-construction, business development, event/ workshop organization, and community house management.
