Start Time: 7pm
Run Time: 5 hours

SERIES LENGTH - 12 Games (this is game #8).  YOU ONLY NEED TO PLAY IN THREE GAMES TO QUALIFY FOR THE SEMI-FINALS AND HAVE A SHOT AT THE LEAGUE PRIZE POOL!!!!

TO QUALIFY FOR SEMI-FINALS - Play In At Least 3 Games

BUYIN: $60 ($40 to nightly prize pool, $20 into league prize pool)

REBUY: One optional for first player to bust out (in first FIVE levels, since they're 20 minutes long now). Only $40 and rebuy goes directly to that nights prize pool

NIGHTLY PAYOUTS:  5 players (100% to first place), 6-8 players (60/40 split for 1st & 2nd), 9-11 players (50/30/20 split for top three spots).

EARNING POINTS

At each nightly tournament there will be 10 points in the point pool per player (this includes an extra 10 points if there is a rebuy)

You are also awarded 2 points for each player you bust from a tournament.

The max # of players for points purposes is 12 (11 squeezed into the one table plus the optional rebuy if taken)

If a player rebuys, they will earn the points from their last place finish plus points for whatever other place they finish that night (i.e. with 10 players you bust in 10th and rebuy and then finish 2nd, you get the points from 10th and 2nd combined)

WHAT POINTS GET YOU

Each point you earn will snag you 100 chips in your starting stack in the semi-finals, on top of the 5,000 starting stack everyone receives who qualifies (by playing at least 3 games out of the 12-game series)

CHOPPING/ENDING TOURNAMENT EARLY

Players may agree to a money chop, but points and places cannot be chopped and must be decided in the following manner if you wish to end the tournament early:

Every player involved in the chop will go all-in on every hand pre-flop until all of the remaining places are decided.

Players are still welcome to change money payouts and play the tournament to its conclusion for the determination of points and places without going all-in every hand.

SEMI-FINALS

At the conclusion of the 12-game series, all players who have participated in at least 3 of the league tournaments will qualify to participate in the semi-finals, where those who move on to the championship event will be determined.

Each player in the semi-finals will contribute $20, which will go towards the league prize pool. There will be no rebuys permitted in the semi-finals. All qualifiers will receive a base starting stack of 5,000 chips plus 100 chips per point earned in the league.

11 or less qualifiers in league = no semi-finals, everyone plays championship, top 3 get paid

12-16 qualifiers in league = top 4 get paid

17-19 qualifiers in league = top 5 get paid

20+ qualifiers in league = top 6 get paid

In the event of 12+ qualifiers in the league, multiple semi-finals nights will be hosted to accommodate everyone since we max at 11 at my table.

Each semi-final event will have a set number of players who will advance to the Championship round, with the stack they have at the conclusion of the semi-finals.

For example, with 20 players in the league, we would hold two semi-final events with 10 players each night, with the top 3 players left standing advancing to the championship from each night for a total of 6 winners.

CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT

Everyone who makes it to the Championship event by qualifying in the Semi-Finals will receive a payout (unless we only have 11 or less total qualifiers, then there is no Semi-finals and we just play the Championship with all qualifiers instead)

EXPECTED SCHEDULE

We'll be starting Saturday, Jan 11th and going from there. Remember that the last Saturday of each month is our dealers choice cash game, but every other Saturday in a month is reserved for the tournament series.

Provided there's no cancellations or need to reschedule an event, this means the series will conclude sometime in April and our Semi-Finals and Championship games would be held in May for Season 1.

LEAGUE PRIZE POOL CONTRIBUTIONS

No player will be exempted from contributing to the league prize pool (i.e. you can only attend one event)

No player will receive a refund if they are unable/unavailable to play in the semi-finals or championship event.

If you are unable to play an earned seat in either the semi-finals or championship event, you may designate another player who is not already playing that event, to play on your behalf. Any arrangements between yourself and that player for a distribution of money won must be communicated by you to me.

If you win a seat in the Semi-Finals and are unable to play or supply a replacement player, your stack will be removed from play.

Alternatively, if you win a seat into the Championship where you're guaranteed a prize, and are unable to attend or supply an alternate player in your place, you will be awarded the last place prize and your stack will not be put into play.
