Paint, Wine and Dine: Paint a Beautiful Painting On The Haw River

Learn to paint  a flowering tree while sipping wine on the banks of the Haw river.  All supplies are provided and everyone leaves with a beautiful painting regardless of skill level.  This lively and entertaining event will be held at the The Eddy restaurant.

The Eddy is located in the Saxapahaw Rivermill,  a charming, restored Cotton Mill and Dye House on the banks of the Haw River in picturesque Saxapahaw, just a short drive from Chapel Hill. The Riverrmill offers a unique blend of history, community, sustainability, culture and nature, while providing for every modern necessity.  The Eddy is committed to highest quality ingredients, local, antibiotic and hormone free, sustainably caught fish.  They serve  NC born draft beers and wine by the bottle and glass. Their appetizer menu includes detectibles such as their famous cheese board with Chapel Hill Creamery’s New Moon Brie and two year aged Danish Gouda,  or pimento cheese fries.

Cost of the event for Chapel Hill Carrboro Social Club members is $35 - normally $45.  Advance payment required. This covers the cost of the painting - food and beverages are a la carte.

We have 7 confirmed painters so far from various groups. This painting is the easiest and turns out quite beautiful. Hope to see you there.

Hi Susan - Thanks for your interest. The cost is normally $45 but Social Club members get it for $35. This includes all the painting supplies, canvas and instruction. If you have never been before I think you will really like it. Look at the information after the writing in red to see how to pay. All drinks and food are a la carte. Hope to see you there.
