999999999 Bellevue, WA	Announcing a new Meetup for The Cascade Cross Country Skiing Meetup Group! What: XC Ski: Amabilis Mountain When: Sunday, Dec 13, 2009 7:45 AM Where: Eastgate Park and Ride 14200 SE Eastgate Way (SE Eastgate Way & 141st Ave) Bellevue, WA 98007 Who: Intermediate cross-country skiers. Reason: the route's lower half is (nordic) groomed and the upper half is not groomed therefore the entire route is best skied with metal edge skis. Grooming conditions will hopefully improve given the forecast for light snow. If conditions are poor, we may go to Windy Pass near Snoqualmie Pass. We may be required to hike a bit in order to reach skiable terrain. Total distance: 9 miles roundtrip. Total elevation gain: 2,200 feet. Pace: Moderate. Duration: 4-6 hours. Difficulty: Strenuous. Sno-Park & Groomed Sticker permit required. Drive duration from park-n-ride to trailhead: 75 mins. Carpooling and fuel reimbursement: Riders please bring cash to compensate your driver.
