Volunteers are needed to sort donated food and coats/winter wear that will be distributed during the Thanksgiving holiday. If you would like to make a food or clothing donation, please bring this on the day of the event.
For Thanksgiving, Bridgeport Rescue Mission is gearing up to
serve thousands of Thanksgiving Day meals and distribute roughly 3,000 Thanksgiving Day Pantry Boxes (includes all the food for a Thanksgiving Day meal) and coats/winter wear to the needy. Volunteers play a vital role in the success of these efforts.

***How to find us:*** We will meet at the main entrance to the donation center. Look for Eileen Patjens from The Catholic Fellowship of Connecticut.
We will meet for a social at Barnum Publick House Restaurant after volunteering.

Take Exit 30 As you near the end of the Exit BEAR LEFT…DO NOT GO STRAIGHT at the end of the exit. Bearing Left at the end will demand a left hand turn onto Hollister Ave.
Follow Hollister Ave to Stratford Ave.
Turn RIGHT onto Stratford Ave.
Get in the LEFT hand lane and look for Freeman St.
Turn LEFT on Freeman St. At the end of Freeman St. you will be directly across from the
entrance driveway to the warehouse complex.
Enter the warehouse complex at 1069 Connecticut Ave and drive to the BACK LEFT Hand CORNER of the complex. Look for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission Donation Center Sign.
Take exit 31for South Ave
Turn right onto South Ave.
Take the 3rd left onto Stratford Ave.
Continue onto Connecticut Ave (Route 130)
Look for the warehouse complex on the right at 1069 Connecticut Ave and drive to the BACK LEFT Hand CORNER of the complex. Look for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission Donation Center Sign.
