Mood Matters

Please upload your submissions (Limit is 6000 words, but you may go a bit over to avoid an awkward break.), double-spaced, in Word 97-03 (.doc), or RTF) to "Files" under the "More" tab by 3:00pm on Sat. 4/26. Note whether it is a complete work or a piece in progress. Critiques will be optional on any work posted later. Bring your crits to the meetup so that you can present their main points, and please upload them to "Files" ASAP afterward. (If you submit work it WILL be critiqued, so there is an expectation of quid pro quo even if you do not attend the meetup.) Note: Some work submitted may be intended for mature readers, so if you are under 18 years of age we request that you obtain permission from a parent/guardian before you participate. At Flapjack's enter through the front door, make a right, and go to the tables at the far end. We're in the restaurant, not the pub. See you there!

I figured if I didn't finish "Cuties" you'd get my own little critters after me. :)

Just realized that I forgot to tell everyone that the word "nickname" in my submission is a placeholder. I hope no one was too confused!

I skimmed your comments and realized that I hadn't warned anyone. : )

I sort of figured that, but thought I'd give you a hard time, anyway. :)

A little early for me to submit anything. Looking forward to attending, however, I can't be at the next meeting as i have a band rehearsal that day. thanks for the opportunity to join.

Greetings and Salutations! I just joined the group, and I would like to go to this, though I'm not interested in submitting anything at this time. My goal would be just to get around some other authors and check things out. Would that be acceptable, or is this really more of a workshop and therefore inappropriate?

    Cheers

You are welcome to attend meetups, even if you don't submit. Lots of people do just that. There is always information to be gleaned. If you are looking to just chew the fat about writing, the Gabfests are good for that. Looking forward to meeting you.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
