I would welcome and look forward to bi-weekly meetings. Having participated in writers groups with fellow writers from a variety of backgrounds in communities across the country, discussing, sharing and critiquing work in person is extremely beneficial and important. Not negating the convenience of online critiquing, but it is important for writers to establish rapports with others in person as much as possible.

Perhaps those of us who would like to meet in person every other week should do just that. Thats my two-cents worth.

How about we try alternating bi-weekly and tri-weekly meetings? Sometimes we might have two bi-weekly or two tri-weekly meetups in a row. This would give us flexibility to more easily get around holidays and will work best if we schedule three or four workshops in advance.
