If you have ideas for outings any time that you are around - let us know and I bet we will have WSA members who will join you. We have many members in western CO, a few in the Moab, Blanding, Hanksville, Torrey and Price areas;lots of members from SLC and Denver. Of all those members some have weekdays off, some are retired, some work oil & gas 3 weeks on 2 weeks off schedules . . . all to say, there are folks to recreate with anytime of the week or month in WSA.

Hello and welcome to WSA, Lisa. You mention 'visiting'; are you visiting Moab or GJ or . . .? and, for how long? We have a 4 day weekend for thanksgiving in Capitol Reef; come on along for all or part of that weekend. We will eat well, do lots of hikes and there will be plenty of canyoneering to do to. We are beginning to plan a 4-day New Years weekend renting a Moab condo and playing outdoors there in any ways that weather allows: hiking, canyons, mtn biking, skiing/ snowshoeing in the La Sals.

Awesome - I wondered if that was you! Truly an incredible experience. I look forward to meeting you again. Do feel free to suggest any Meetup ideas that might come to your mind. Maybe another wild place outing?

Oh - just now saw your link. Were you involved in the coyote hike last month? We were there - that was one of the most memorable experiences of my life!
