Editor's Choice for March

UPDATE: The winner of the book poll is.... The Tender Bar by J. R. Moehringer. Happy reading.

We are fortunate enough to have some professional Book Lovers in our group, so I thought it would be great to read & discuss one of her recommendations. Please check out the poll under the "More" tab and vote for your choice. The three options are: Serena by Rash, The Story of a Marriage by Greer, and The Tender Bar by Moehringer. All 3 are sure to generate great analysis and debate.

Looking forward to our next meetup!

Unable to attend this evening. Absolutely loved the book and will miss hearing the discussion. Moving this week and just overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done.

Thanks to all who came out last night, I had a great time. Thanks to Katherine for introducing us to this book, and thank you ALL for sharing your stories. It's not always easy to bare some of the pieces of ourselves that come up in our discussions, but last night was particularly encouraging for me! Thank you!

Hi Melissa, I am making an inquiry in behalf of Where Writer's Win. We are an advocacy website for authors and writers. Feel free to visit our site at www.writerswin.com. We are currently compiling a national list of book clubs that would be open to being approached by authors so that they might pitch their publication to you in an effort to be included on your list. WWW would only list your name, contact information and preferred genres and the list would be available to subscribers only. Whether you accept the author's request is at your discretion. It could open your group to a great new works and most authors would be thrilled to appear at your events, if you so desire. I'd very much appreciate hearing back from you ([masked]) Sincerely,
    Jacqueline Gum

I'm really excited to come in March. What book are we reading?

Likewise, Maggie! Danielle, we limit the group to the first 20 people who reply. We have found that it is difficult to have a good group discussion with more than 20. Hope to see you in April, if not before.
