February Book Lovers

UPDATE: The winner of the February book poll is: The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce.  Thanks for voting!

Please join us for February's Book Lover's meetup.  I have posted a poll (under the "More" tab on the main page), please take a look, check out the books on your favorite book site, and VOTE! The focus of February's choices are inspiration & insight, but in an un-put-downable novel.  These 3 books are very different from each other, but transport the reader to different place or time, and provide a perspective view that should generate some good discussion.  In the doldrums of winter, these 3 options are also meant to inspire and uplift the reader.  Who isn't ready for that?

Oxford Messed Up by Kaufman

The Power of One: A Novel by Courtenay

The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Joyce

I thought we would also shake up our location a bit and head back to Blu, where we can enjoy the equally uplifting backdrop of the beach.  We'll overtake the lounge again, hope to see you there.

I wish you were not so far from S'ville! Maybe I'll try and start a book club there.

@ Charlotte - you definitely should. Even though I regularly attend CBL gatherings, I also just started another group in my neighborhood. It's nice to be able to walk to a meeting.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
